Hospice of the Western Reserve Needs Ongoing Volunteers!

Hospice of the Western Reserve is looking for 20 ongoing hospice volunteers throughout Summit, Portage, and Medina counties

Hospice of the Western Reserve is recruiting new volunteers for a variety of volunteer opportunities which range from visiting patients in their homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities to helping get the word out about hospice care and volunteer opportunities in the community and many things in between. Please visit our website at www.hospicewr.org/volunteer/volunteer-opportunities for a extensive list of volunteer opportunities and our new volunteer education calendar. Volunteers with patient contact need 20 hours of education while volunteers not seeing patients only need 4 hours. All volunteers receive TB testing and a criminal background check. Once these requirements are met the volunteer chooses how much time to commit to volunteering.
